WELLINGTON CENTRE CHRISTMAS TOURNEY. YESTERDAY'S PLAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Wellington Bowling Centre’s Christmas fours tournament, was continued yesterday and was advanced tn the completion of the sixth round of section play. The Lyall Bay four skipped by J. B. Reid is the only one to survive to this stage without a defeat, and it has to win only one of the three further rounds of section play today to qualify for the post-section play on Monday. Winners of sections also enter post-section play. The day, being sunny with only a light southerly, was the best day for bowls this season, and the greens are all in good condition. Today section A will play at Newtown, section B. at Karori, section C at Khandallah and section D at Hataitai, the headquarters.
