Mrs. Godfrey Taylor is a Pahiatua visitor to Wellington. Mrs. S. T. Tinney, of Pahiatua, is spending a holiday at Wanganui. Mrs. J. A. Mclnnes, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. W. Sturton, Pahiatua. Mr and Mrs L. B. Cross, Church Street, Mastert'on, are visiting Island Bay. Mrs F. Winzenberg, Essex Street, Masterton, is visiting her daughter, Mrs H. Beasley, Otaki. Mr and Mrs Alf. Ibbetson, of Wanganui, and formerly of Masterton, are on a visit to Masterton. Mrs R. K. Booth, of Martinborough, is visiting her mother, Mrs M. A. McKenzie, Waipukurau. Mrs G. Watson, of . Martinborough, is staying with Mrs D. McNeur, of Lansdowne. The death occurred at the Wellington Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Mary McManus, relict of Mr. Francis McManus, formerly of Eketahuna, at the age of 77 years. The funeral will leave the Catholic Church, Eketahuna, tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for the Eketahuna cemetery.
