POLICY IN EGYPT
GOVERNMENT GETS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE. FULFILMENT OF TREATY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) CAIRO, December 26. The Chamber of Deputies, by 122 votes to 68, passed a vote of confidence in the Government’s foreign policy, based on the fulfilment of the Anglo-Egyptian Treaty. The Premier, Hasson Sirry Pasha, winding up a three days’ secret debate, declared: “We are continuing our defence preparations, although danger is remote after the British victory.”
