♦ UNEASINESS IN JAPAN OBLITERATION OF POLITICAL PARTIES. OUTSTANDING DOMESTIC ISSUES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) TOKIO, December 24. The Diet was convoked amid considerable popular misgivings over the obliteration of political parties. There are fears that freedom of speech will be curtailed under the new structure. The outstanding domestic issues insues include the revision of the election laws, with limited franchise for the heads of families under the age of 25 and the disenfranchising of 4,000,000 voters, and the approval of an unprecedently large budget. Fireworks are chiefly to be expected from the industrialists in opposition to the tightened economic control.
