Road Transport Alliance (Inc.) advises that the increases in transport charges, as from December 1, 1940, which were granted by the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority, are effective throughout the No. 2 Licensing Authority’s District except Poverty Bay. The Alliance desires to refute any suggestion that the increased charges have been made by any local Carrying Company or individuals only. The charges for cartage are controlled by the Transport Department, and not by the Carriers. MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. ALTERATIONS TO REFUSE COLLECTION.
