PARK CLUB BOOTH CUP AND SHIELD. HONOURS EVEN IN CUP. The third round of the Booth Cup and Shield competitions was played on Saturday between the Park and Greytown Clubs. The matches were contested at Greytown and in the cup games honours were even, each club registering one win and one loss. In the shield contest victory rested with the home players. Details are as follows. Park players being mentioned first in each instance: Booth Cup':—Winhall, Leigh, Burke. Gibson (s), lost to Brunton, Kiernan. Curtis. W. Kilgour (s), 12/21. Trevorrow, Braggins, Vincent, A.'E. Kilgour (s), beat Connolly, Burdon, Kenning. Higgison (s), 18/15. Shield: Lee. Moore, Fenton, Spackman (s.) lost to Reid, Campbell, Dennes, Carter (s.), 16/34.
MARTINBOROUGH V CARTERTON
WIN FOR SOUTHERN TEAM
The second games for the Booth Cup and Duthie Shield were played on the Carterton green on Saturday and ended in a win for the visitors in all the games. The afternoon tea arrangements were presided over by Mesdames Callender and Boyne, to whom a vote of thanks was accorded.

Lindop, Simmonds, Harrington (s) beat Hill, Tomlin. Riggs, Harris (s), 20/12. The lady members of the Carterton Club spent a most enjoyable time on their green, and are continuing to show good form.
WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT. ENTRIES CLOSE ON DECEMBER 30. (Notes by “The Bowler.”) The customary Wairarapa New Year bowling tournament will be held on January 1 and 2. Entries will close on Monday, December 30. This tourney has always proved a most successful and enjoyable one, and the association trusts that entries will be a record. The Wairarapa Association will be pleased if all bowlers will make their entries as early as possible. MASTERTON CLUB. COMPETITION RESULTS. BOOTH CUP FEATHERSTON BEAT MASTERTON. In Booth Cup matches played on Saturday at Featherston between the Masterton and Featherston Bowling Clubs, Featherston won by a win and a draw, and also beat Masterton in a shield game. Results are as follow, Masterton rink being, given first in every case: Booth Cup: Percy, Carstens, Hendry, Christian (s.), lost to Bloxam (s.); Mills, Evans, Hayne, E. J. Reid (s.), drew with Rolls (s.). Shield: Rogers, Wylie, Roberts, A. O. Jones (s.), lost to Higgison (s.).
