MAN POWER
MEETING OF WAIRARAPA COMMITTEE SERVICE IN TERRITORIALS. CASES BEFORE MASTERTON SITTING. A sitting of the Wairarapa Man Power Committee was held in Masterton this morning, when appeals for postponement of Territorial service, in most cases lodged by employers, were dealt with. The board comprised the chairman, Mr T. Jordan, and Messrs L. T. Daniell and F. Cole. Appeals by employers on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship: Richard Bevan Cameron, farm hand and shearer (co-appellant, Robert Alan Cameron, employer), not to be called up before May 31. Evan Henry Rolls, shepherd (coappellant Est. O. C. Cooper, employer), not to be called up before March 15. Donald Hugh Mathieson,' farm hand (co-appellant, Samuel Roy Gawith, employer), net to be called up before March 15. lan Stuart McLennan, farm hand (co-appellant, Grace McLennan,\ employer), not to be called up before May 31. s Quinton Alexander McGovern, farm hand (co-appellant, Donald McKenzie, employer), not to be called up before March 15. William Walter Dalgliesh, farm manager (co-appellant, Simon Dalgliesh, employer);' not to be called up before March 15. Jack Lett, farm manager (co-appel-lant, Public Trustee), adjourned until March 31. Edgar Keith Ticetyirst, farm hand (co-appellant, Herbert Ticehurst, employer), adjourned until May 31. Francis Keith Field, dairy farm hand (co-opellant, L. G. Field, employer), not to be called up before May 31. Appeals by employers on ground of public interest: John Braithwaite Moore, farm manager , (co-appellant, William Moore, employer and partner), adjourned until May 31. Appeals by appellants on grounds of public interest and undue hardship: Hugh Charles O'Brien, drover, not to be called up before March 15. Ralph McKenzie, farm hand (on shares), dismissed.
