BRITISH LINER WESTERN PRINCE ATTACKED IN NORTH ATLANTIC, ALL PASSENGERS RESCUED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, December 14. The Mackay radio reported that the British liner Western Prince was attacked by a submarine 400 miles northwest of the northern tip of Ireland. It is reported that the Canadian Munitions Minister, Mr Howe, was a passenger, from New York, but that he and his party have been rescued. The Norwegian Shipping Commission confirmed the report that the Olso Fjord (18.673 tons) was mined and sunk off Newcastle-on-Tyne recently. A 8.8. C. broadcast states that all the passengers on the Western Prince were saved.
