ENEMY SHIPS

ONE SUNK BY BRITISH SUBMARINE TANKER ALSO DAMAGED. THIRD VESSEL BOMBED BY AIRCRAFT. Attacks are being maintained on enemy shipping hugging the western coasts of Europe, the 8.8. C. states. The Admiralty reports that the submarine Sunfish torpedoed and sunk an enemy supply ship of 4,000 tons near the Norwegian coast. The ship, which was probably carrying iron ore, was struck by two torpedoes and broke up and sank immediately. The Sunfish also torpedoed and damaged an enemy tanker. In another area, a direct hit amidships on an enemy supply ship of about 7,000 tons was made by a Coastal Command aircraft.
