BOWLING

PARK CLUB CUP AND SHIELD CONTESTS. — TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The third round of the Booth Cup and Shield competitions will be played on Saturday next between the Park and Greytown clubs. All games will take place at Greytown. The following have been selected to represent the Park Club: Booth Cup: Trevorrow, Braggins, Vincent, Kilgour (s); Winhall, Leigh, Burke, Gibson (s). Shield: Lee, Moore, Fenton, Spaceman (s). Cars will leave the Park gates at 1.15 p.m., and anyone unable to make the trip is requested to advise the selector (Mr A. E. Kilgour, telephone 1728) as early as possible. The following are the results of championship games played recently:— Champion pairs: Trevorrow and Simpson (s) beat Moore and O’Donnell (sL Champion singles: Tnompson beat Drummond; Kilgour beat Snearer; Simpson beat Moore; Duckworth beat MacPherson.
