GROUP SCHEiviE. POSITION IN MASTERTON. Up to the weekend 440 accounts have been opened at the Masterton Post Office in the national savings 'scheme. The group scheme is receiving a ready response from employe)'.' and employees and the result in this direction is most encouraging to the local organiser. Fourteen groups with a membership of approximately 16C have been formed to date and the accounts set up. Eight more groups arc in formation and it is expected that these will be formed within a few days. The opportunity to help in winning the war by saving and lending money for the purpose of equipping the New Zealand forces overseas is afforded in this movement and it if worthy of consideration. All moneyr so lent will be returned to the investor on June 30, 1945.
