MEETING OF WAIRARAPA COMMITTEE APPEALS FOR POSTPONEMENT OF SERVICE. MANY APPLICATIONS CONCERN FARM WORKERS. Appeals for postponement of Territorial service, largely concerning farm workers, were dealt with by the Wairarapa Man Power Committee at sittings held at Carterton and Featherston yesterday. The board comprised the chairman. Mr T. Jordan, and Messrs L. T. Daniell and F. Cole In practically every case , the appeals were lodged by employers, who were cited as co-appellants.
