GREEKS STILL PUSHING FORWARD IN ALBANIA

Important Progress Made in Coastal Zone ALBANIANS ATTACKING ENEMY IN REAR HARD FIGHTING ON NORTHERN FRONT The Greek advance in Albania continues, a 8.8. C. broadcast states. A strong- enemy column is reported to have been annihilated by Greek mountain artillery. In the northern area, heavy snow is reported and the Italian resistance is stiffening. The biggest advance is reported from the south, where Greek troops are now 15 miles north of Santi Quaranta. A number of exiled Albanian patriots have been landed in the rear of the Italian lines and are joining in the fight, together with Albanian highlanders. An offensive reconnaissance was carried out by aircraft in the vicinity of Valona on Monday. Bombs were dropped close to a harbour jetty and buildings on the harbour front. Some anti-aircraft' fire was encountered, but there was no fighter opposition. All the British planes returned.
