BELATED ADMISSION
LOSS OF ARGYROKASTRON. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, December 9. An Italian communique admits a withdrawal from Argyrokastron. “.without loss of men or material” and adds that the R.A.F. bombed Tripoli, Benghazi and Gallabat. Italian artillery, it is claimed, routed enemy mechanised columns in North Africa.
