CHRISTMAS IN WAR TIME. NATIONAL SAVINGS COUPON. At this time of the year, many people are faced with the problem, of what to buy as Christmas,gifts. The National Savings Committee, through the Post Office, has now introduced a novel gift coupon which may be purchased at any Post Office for ss, and which may be used to open or augment a National Savings Account.
This certificate, besides being an acceptable Christmas, New Year, or birthday gift, gives the public the opportunity of helping the country’s war effort, and at the same time keeping up the spirit of Christmas. In this war time Christmas season, there is sure to be a big demand for these coupons.
