WAR EXPENDITURE
NEW HIGH LEVEL TOUCHED IN BRITAIN. ABOUT £13,000,000 A DAY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.3 a.m.) RUGBY, December 4. Last night’s Exchequer returns revealed that Britain's war expenditure had touched a new record, in the week ended Saturday last, of £90,133,950, representing a daily expenditure of about £13.000.000.
