INTERHOUSE GIRLS
ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE MEETING LAST NIGHT. DONATION TO PATRIOTIC FUND. There was a full attendance of the committee of the Wairarapa Interhouse Association at the monthly meeting held in the Y.M.C.A. lasevening. An invitation was received front the Napier Amateur Athletic Club for two teams to take part in their championship display in January. Any team wishing to participate in this display may obtain further -particulars from the secretary (Mr D. Costello). The application of the State Kitchenette team of swimmers to take part in the New Plymouth gala was granted. Details were finalised for the social for the Interhouse girls to be held in the Y.M.C.A. tonight. Accounts amounting to £lO3 4s 9d were passed for payment. After a general discussion it was decided that each team be paid the sum of £3 10s to assist them to pay for then - uniforms. It was also decided that an instalment of £2O be paid to the £1.000,000 appeal. Messrs Bruce. Hayden. Pawson and Costello were appointed a sub-commit-tee to organise the Interhouse Swimming Carnival in conjunction with the Masterton Swimming Club officials.
