RAIDS ON BRITAIN
ONLY ON SMALL SCALE YESTERDAY SOME SCATTERED BOMBING. DAMAGE SLIGHT & FEW CASUALTIES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.17 a.m.) RUGBY, December 3. A communique states: “There have been a few flights over East Anglia and other parts of England today by single enemy aircraft. Some of these flew over the London area and dropped bombs in the outskirts. Bombs were also dropped in Sussex and East Anglia. The damage was slight and casualties were few.
