GIRL GLIDES

♦ EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. MEETING IN MASTERTON. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Masterton Girl Guides Association was held in the Lecture Room, Municipal Buildings, on Monday. There were present Mesdames Hodder, A. W. McKenzie, Lawson, Heath, Hunter, and H. M. Major. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs Stewart and Mrs Parr. Various accounts were passed for payment. The committee decided to donate £1 for trophies for the swimming sports. Miss Allen, of the Weraiti Company, read her report. During Miss Ractliffe’s illness, Miss Allen is doing splendid work in managing both companies. She has had to take double responsibility for the arrangements for the party which the Guides and Brownies will give for the crippled children fund at the residence of Mrs E. G. Norman, Cole Street, Masterton.
