RUGBY IN BRITAIN
NEW ZEALANDERS WELL BEATEN. BY ST. MARY’S HOSPITAL TEAM. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, December 2. In a Rugby match, St. Mary's Hospital defeated a N.Z.E.F. team by 15 to 3. Commentators state that it will do the New Zealanders good, showing up their weaknesses when opposed to a team run by brains. The greatest criticism was of the back division. Tindill was unable, despite great efforts, to get his men on the move.'On the contrary, the Saint Mary’s fifteen were in irresistible form, the N.Z.E.F’s. five-eighths and three-quarters holding no surprises for them.
