WOOL SUBSTITUTE
ITOPSTALKS AS MATERIAL IN GERMANY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 30. The Tlilversum radio stated that Germany has a new industry—the making of ersatz wool from hopstalks. The wool is said to be three times as strong as cotton by-products and can be used for making paper and imitation leather.
