MOTOR ACCIDENT
CAR RUNS OFF ROAD NEAR MANAKAU. MINOR INJURIES SUFFERED BY OCCUPANTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OTAKI, This Day. A car, containing seven members of the New Zealand Scottish Territorials, was returning last night from Wanganui when it ran off the road near Manakau and crashed into an electric light pole. Luckily all the occupants escaped with minor injuries, but probably Mr T. J. Cameron has a broken forearm. The men were conveyed to a casualty station at Weraroa.
