Miss Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.35. Shade temperature: Maximum 72.5, minimum 45.3, terrestrial 33.7. Sunshine, 2 hours 50 minutes.
SOLWAY RAINFALL RECORD FOR NOVEMBER. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that rain was measured on 15 days in November, the maximum fall being 111 points on the 18th, and the minimum 1 point, on the, Gth. The total for the month was 4.88 inches, as against 1.08 11939). 2.94 (1938). 1.74 (1937), 2.68 (1936), 4.38 (1935). The average for 37 years was 2.91 inches. The total rainfall for the past eleven months is 35.42 inches, as compared with 26.54 (1939), 42.38 (1938), 30.91 (1937), 40.97 (1936, 44.22 (1935). The average for 37 years is 36.37 inches.
Weather forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with south-easter-lies to easterlies later predominating, some morning low cloud and possibly light drizzle in eastern districts, but weather otherwise fine and mild.
