SALE AT FEILDING VALUES SLIGHTLY IMPROVED. STATION CATTLE IN DEMAND (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, November 29. Values were firm to slightly improved at today's sale, fat sheep hardening a little and the demand for station cattle was good. Fat sheep: Some good hoggets were included in the offering, and for these values advanced. Ewes showed little change in price. Prime wethers, 235. 4d. to 255. 7d.; second grade. '2ls. 7d. to 225. 10d.; light, to 20s. 10d.; extra prime hoggets. 245. lOd. to 255. 10d.; prime, 225. lOd. to 245. Id.; unfinished, 20s. 7d. to 225. Id.; woolly hoggets. 31s. 7d.; extra prime ewes 17s. 10d.; to 195.: prime, IGs 3d. to 17s. 4d.; light. 14s. lOd. to 16s.

Store cattle: There was a good assortment of cattle yarded, best quality station lines selling well. Forward three-year A.A. steers, £8 18s. 6d. to £9 3s. 6d.; second grade, £7 10s. to £8; very good two-year Hereford steers, £7 155.; others, £6 10s.; two-year A.A. steers, best, £6 2s. 6d. to £6 16s. 6d; others, £4 17s. 6d.; two-year Hereford heifers, £5 155.; smaller, £4 175.; A.A. two-year heifers, £5 15s; yearling A.A. steers, very good, £5 65.; small; £3 155.; three-ypar A.A. heifers, £7; empty A.A. cows. £6 Ils.; A.A. cows with calves at foot, £7 Bs.; works cows, £3 ss. to £4; cows with calves, £5 65.; yearling Jersey heifers, £3 16s. CARTERTON SALE GOOD PRICES FOR FATS AND STORES. PIGS MAKE LATE RATES. Messrs. Wright,- Stephenson and Co., reports: There was a fair entry of stock at our Carterton sale yesterday. Sheep, both fat and stores, made good prices, fat and forward cattle were also in demand, but yearling dairy heifers were easier. A few springing cows were offered and made satisfactory prices. A big entry of pigs came forward and sold at late rates. The following are realisations: — Sheep: Fat hoggets, 265. 6d. to 315.; fat shorn ewes. 14s. 6d. to 15s. Bd.; woolly ewes (light), 18s. Cd. to 19s. 9d.; fat lambs (good), 235. 6d.; shorn m.a. ewes 225. Id., shorn two-tooth ewes. 21s. Id.; woolly m.a. ewes, 28s. 9d.; woolly ewe hoggets, 355.; small woolly ewe hoggets 235. 9d. Cattle:.
