NEW COMMANDER-IN CHIEF. i ßy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! LONDON. November 29. General C. J. E. Auchileck, Com-mander-in-Chief of the Southern Command in Britain, has been appointed Ccmmander-in-Chief in India. He replaces General Sir R. A. Cassels, who has held the position since 1935.
