RAID VICTIMS
ELDERLY COUPLE KILLED IN LONDON DIRECT HIT ON DOCTOR’S HOUSE. OCCUPANTS RESCUED UNHARMED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) LONDON, November 27. A bomb hit a house in the London area last night, killing an elderly couple. Two soldiers, hearing another bomb fall, dived into the front garden of a doctor’s house, which was directly hit. The soldiers rescued the doctor and his wife. No one was hurt.
GERMAN REPORT (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) LONDON, November 27. A German communique says: “The Luftwaffe’s activity on the night of November 25 and also yesterday was restricted to reconnaissance and isolated actions owing to bad weather. The British bombed various parts of the Reich last night, damaging several buildings and killing and injuring a number of civilians.”
