LIQUOR PRICES
ALL-ROUND INCREASES IN AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) CANBERRA. This Day. The increases in liquor prices announced last night affect the whole of Australia. The price of bottled beer in all States except New South Wales is increased from today by 2d. per bottle but in New South Wales by JJd. The prices of beer sold over the counter in New South Wales is increased by Id. per half-pint and in Victoria by Id. per lloz. glass and by Id. per 7oz. glass. There are similar adjustments in Queensland and other States, except that in some instances the size of glasses is being reduced instead of price increases taking place. The price of spirits in all States is increased by Id. per nip.
