ACKNOWLEDGED BY KING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Governor-General, Lord Galway, has received the following cablegram from his Majesty the King in reply to the message sent by him on the occasion of his Majesty's birthday:' “Please convey to the Government, and people of New Zealand my heartfelt thanks for their kind and loyal message on the occasion of the observance of my birthday. The good wishes they express towards the Queen and myself have a very special value to us in times like the present. (Signed) GEORGE R. 1.”
