LADY GALWAY GUILD

v GARMENTS FROM NEW & USED MATERIAL. DISPLAY IN W.F.C.A. WINDOW. A splendid display of garments from new and used material, made by the Masterton branch of the Lady Galway Guild is on show in the W.F.C.A. windows in Queen Street. The display is attracting considerable attention. Included in the beautifully made goods are dresses and coats made from old garments, quilts, sets of children's clothes, etc. Over 4.970 garments have been sent overseas and the goods on display will be packed and sent away shortly. There is an urgent need for donations of clothing oi' materials, old or new, suitable for making up, and all who are able to assist in that connection are asked to communicate with the Lady Galway Guild committee, of which the Mayoress, Mrs T. Jordan, is president.
