SISTER V. SAYERS
TWENTY YEARS’ SERVICE IN MASTERTON. Reference was made by several speakers at a farewell to Majoi Mahaffie, of the Salvation Army, last night of the valuable work carried out by Sister V. Sayers during her period of nearly 20 years service in the local Salvation Army Corps. Miss Sayers left Masterton this morning for Hasting.s In making a presentation to Sister Sayers last night, Mrs 0. R. Fairbrother,’ leader of the Young People’s work paid a tribute to her faithful services and wished her success in her new sphere.
