TARANTO EVIDENCE
THIRD BATTLESHIP MUCH DAMAGED DETAILS OF.SALVAGE EFFORTS. TWO CRUISERS ALSO IN PICTURE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON. November 25. In addition to the air photographs of Taranto showing a 35,000-ton battleship and another of 23,600 tons badly damaged, a third photograph shows another battleship of the Cavour class down by the bows and on the shore of the outer harbour, with a list to starboard and auxiliary vessels alongside. Attempts 1 obviously were being made to render the vessel seaworthy enough to tow her out for repairs. A cruiser of the Trento class and a cruiser of the Bolzano class are among .the shipping. A fourth photograph shows considerable oil on the water around them. It is reasonable to assume that both cruisers were damaged.
