4 APPOINTMENT OF ACTING PREMIER PENDING PERMANENT CHOICE. SUCCESSOR TO CRAIGAVON. At a meeting of the Northern Ireland Cabinet, the 8.8. C. reports, Mr J. M. Andrews, Finance Minister, accepted the position of Premier. He will continue as Minister of Finance, and will act as Premier until the Ulster Unionist Council cnooses a new party leader.
