SUCCESSFUL DANCE IN AID OF MEETING HOUSE FUNDS. (‘•Times-Age” Special.) 'there was a large attendance at a plain and hard-up fancy dress dance ncld in the Te Ove Ore Meeting House cn Saturday night, 'lhe function was organised by Mr. T. Te Huki in aid of the Meeting House improvement fund, and proved an outstanding success. The music was supplied by Te Tati’s Melody Makers and the duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr. A. Mikacra. A Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Miss Hirota and partner. Supper was served by a committee headed by Mrs. Mikaera. ' The prize for the best fancy-dress was won by Misses Goggin and Jensen, who were dressed as "Dave and Mabel.'’
