GILBERT & SULLIVAN COMPANY. The announcement made on this page last week that the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company will commence a tour of New Zealand at Auckland next month has created much interest. The season will, as usual, open with "The Gondoliers.” Former favourites —Ivan Menzies. Evelyn Gardiner, Gregory Stroud. Bernard Manning and Richard Watson —will return. Newcomers will include Viola Wilson, John Fullard, Max Oldaker, Phyllis Curnow and Peggy Shea.
