SAVINGS SCHEME

GROUPS FORMED IN MASTERTON. The introduction of National Savings Investment Accounts has met with a ready response and several thousands of New Zealanders have already made visits to their local Post Office or savings banks and opened accounts. This procedure has now been greatly simplified by the inauguration of the Group Scheme. It is emphasised that this is no new development. but is simply a more convenient way of making deposits in a National Savings Account. Business houses have been extremely helpful in facilitating the formation of such groups within their own organisations. Already several groups have been formed at Masterton.
