COSY THEATRE

“DANGER ON WHEELS.” Topping their previous pictures for continuous action, drama and excitci ment, Richard Arlen and Andy -Devine’s new co-starring film, Universal’s “Danger on Wheels,” will be shown at the Cosy Theatre tonight. Played against-the backgound of the auto race-tracks, the film is chock-full of breath-taking spills and crashes. Speedway contests provide spectacular highlights of the production. _ Arlen gives an outstanding portrayal as a test driver whose search for more dangerous thrills turns him to race driving. Andy Devine, as his mechanic, who is always getting into trouble,! also gives a splendid performa’nee. Appearing opposite Arlen in the romantic lead, is Peggy Moran, screen newcomer whose beauty and acting talent indicate a promising future. Other roles are ably handled by Herbert Cortheil, Harry Bradley, Sandra King, Landers Stevens and Jack Arnpld. Mystery and comedy, combined in new form in Universal's “Honeymoon Deferred," an action drama co-star-ring Edmund Lowe and Margaret Lindsay, is the associate feature. Lowe as the private investigator whose honeymoon is interrupted by the violent death of his boss, portrays the kind of role that has made him one of the screen’s most popular players. Miss Lindsay, the bride who helps her husband solve the case, also has a role aptly suited to her. With Lowe and Tvliss Lindsay in “Honeymoon Deferred” is a supporting cast of well known performers, including Elizabeth Risdon. Joyce Compton, Chick Chandler, Anne Gwynne, Jerry Marlowe. Cliff Clark, Lillian Yarbo, Julie Stevens and others.
