HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

FLOWER SHOW TOMORROW. TO BE OPENED BY THE MAYOR. The Mayor of Masterton. Mr T. Jordan, has consented to open the Masterton Horticultural Society's spring flower show to be held in the Municipal Hall tomorrow. Mr Jordan will be accompanied by Mrs Jordan. The official opening will take place at 3 p.m. but the doors will be open to visitors from 2 o'clock onwards in the afternoon and from 7 o'clock onwards in the evening. Afternoon tea will be available to visitors, the arrangements for such being in the hands of a special ladies' committee, so patrons are assured of attractive refreshments amid the beautiful surroundings.

The secretary. Mr E. K. Eastwood, advises that he is prepared to accept late entries in the various classes until 6 p.m. today. These may be telephoned to his office (telephone 1077).
