“An idea worthy of emulation in every centre in the Dominion has just 'been carried to a successful issue in Christchurch.” said the Minister for Industries and Commerce, the Hon D. G. Sullivan, in an interview, when praising the etlort of one of the city s large retail drapery stores which recently presented a New Zealand manufactures’ week. For a period of 10 days, the Minister said, the public had been afforded the opportunity of inspecting a comprehensive range of high quality goocls. all made in New Zealand. The Minister recommended the idea to other centres.
