BANNED SECT
PROTEST MADE TO KING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY. November 18. The Theocratic Embassy in Sydney which is the headquarters of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect in Australia and New Zealand, has sent a cable to the King protesting against the ban on the organisation in New Zealand and asking him to "advise the New Zealand Government to restore its freedom.” The sect has also sent a cable to the Governor-General of New Zealand, Lord Galway, asking him to have the ban lifted.
