(By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright I (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 15. “The Times'’ Delhi correspondent says the Eastern Group Conference is now specifically shaping a plan to make the British territories east of Suez self-supporting in war supplies. In collaboration with the Roger Mission, it has found many sources of materials and production hitherto untapped for war purposes, relieving Britain of an appreciable strain, particularly on shipping in maintaining forces in the Middle East.

It appears that the conference is prepared to undertake to supply a larger force than was formerly thought possible. There is a growing recognition that the British territories of the Eastern Hemisphere can make a very notable contribution to the Commonwealth war ell'ort.
