The Admiralty announces the loss of! five mine-sweepers, namely the trawlers Rinovia, Sevra, William, Wesney and Stella Orion and the drifter Girl Helen. There were no casualties on the Sevra and Stella Orion. A communique states: “Despite the enemy’s extension of mine warfare, our counter-measures continue to achieve great success in keeping clear the approaches to our ports.”
