RAID VICTIMS
IN BRITAIN LAST MONTH. MANY WOMEN & CHILDREN KILLED OR INJURED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) RUGBY, November 12. The Ministry of Home Security announces that during October 0,334 civilians were killed and 8,095 injured and detained in hospital as a result of air raids on Britain. The total comprises 2791 men killed and 4228 injured; 2900 women killed and 3.750 injured, and 04,3 children under 16 killed and 717 injured.
