PARAFFIN IN STARCH
WILL PREVENT IRON FROM STICKING. A few drops of paraffin added to starch immediately it is made will prevent the iron from sticking to the garments. If you have to leave an electric iron in the middle‘of your work, don’t forget to switch it off, but place a teacosy over the iron and it will keep hot a long while.
