C. reports a notable victory in the complete defeat of an Italian Alpine division in the mountainous Pindus region on the central section of the front. On the Epirus front, Greek guns have successfully bombarded enemy concentrations and have made captures of material of all kinds. British planes have again bombed Italian embarkation bases in Italy and in Albania. Greece has had two days free from air raiding, but on Sunday villages in Crete were bombed without suffering material damage.
