FOOD CENTRE
OPENED IN LIVERPOOL MEALS AT MODERATE PRICES FOR BENEFIT OF RAID VICTIMS. Liverpool is the first provincial city in Retain to set up a communal food centre, the 8.8. C. states. This was opened yesterday by the Food Minister (Lord Woolton), and is to be open for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The most expensive meal served is to cost only lOd.
