HONG KONG PETITION
RETURN OF EVACUATED FAMILIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) HONG KONG, November 9. A. mass meeting of Hong Kong husbands decided to petition the Secretary of State for the Colonies to allow the return of their wives and families from Australia. This action was taken in view of the Government's recent decision to allow wives and children at present in Hong Kong to remain for the time being and not be subjected to compulsory evacuation.
