MUCH SPECULATION
OVER MOLOTOV’S VISIT TO BERLIN SOME ADVANCE BOASIING BY NAZIS. HOPES OF DIPLOMATIC VICTORY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 10. M. Molotov’s visit to Berlin, on which he is being accompanied by 32 persons, including Graf von Schulen■berg,' the German Ambassador to Moscow, has excited much speculation. M. Molotov left for Berlin in a special train this afternoon. Count Ciano and Mr. Kurusu, the Japanese Ambassador in Berlin, are expected to be present at the dicussions, which Nazi circles boast will result in another diplomatic victory over Britain. The air defences of Berlin have been doubled, to prevent raids during the visit. It is the first time M. Molotov has headed a diplomatic mission, and it is also the first occasion on which any Soviet Premier has gone abroad during his term of office. Herr von Ribbentrop has gone to Danzig to meet M. Molotov.
The Berlin radio announced that General Antonescu, Premier of Rumania, is going to Rome on November 14 to meet Mussolini and Count Ciano.
