MADE BY GREEKS ON EPIRUS FRONT

Positions Elsewhere Held Firmly HARD FIGHTING IN KORITZA REGION DESTRUCTION OF ENEMY TANKS Official military circles in London confirm reports that the Italians are continuing their pressure on the Epirus section of the Greek front and that the Greeks have retired some 15 miles, so that the total enemy advance into Greece is thus about 20 miles. Yesterday morning’s Greek communique indicated that the Italian attack was being successfully repelled. The Greeks are also fighting back on the Koritza front, in positions about twelve miles south of Koritza. It is reported that the nine Italian tanks put out of action five days ago were destroyed by a detachment of Greek infantry and engineers. Italy is stated to be making preparations for sending strong additional forces of aircraft into Albania.
