Mr and Mrs Silver, Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Midland, .Masterton. On Wednesday the death occurred in Wellington of Mrs Helen Mary Hamilton Dunn, widow of Mr Alexander Dunn, who was a well-known legal practitioner in Wellington. Mrs Dunn is survived by one son, Captain J. Dunn, officer in charge of the anti-air-craft battery in Wellington and in civil life a barrister and solicitor, Miss Julia Dunn, who is carrying on the family law practice in Wellington, and a marI ried daughter, who resides in Australia. | Mrs Alexa Margaret Fordham, widow of Mr Charles Fordham, died suddenly at her residence in Wellington, on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Fordham was the eldest daughter of the late Mr A. R. Hislop, at one time secretary of the Marine Engineers’ Institute of New Zealand, and later the founder of the firm of A. R. Hislop Ltd., Dixon Street, Wellington, merchants and importers of engineers’ supplies. Mrs Fordham was a director of that firm for a time. Later her place on the directorate was taken by one of her twin sons. Mrs H. J. Francis, Masterton, is a sister.
