0 PROMOTIONS OF SENIOR OFFICERS. THREE NEW BRIGADIERS. Several important military appointments are announced in the “Gazette'’ issued last evening. Colonel F. T. Bowerbank. DirectorGeneral of Medical Services, Army Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of brigadier while holding his present appointment. Lieutenant-Colonel I. S. Wilson, As-sistant-Director of Medical Services, Army Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of colonel, and Lieu-tenant-Colonel B. S. Finn, Director of Dental Services, Army Headquarters, is granted the temporary rank of colonel while holding his present appointment. In the New Zealand Staff Corps, Colonel E. Puttick is granted the temporary rank of brigadier, and Colonel R. Miles, Royal New . Zealand Artillery, is also granted the temporary rank of brigadier. Major I. R. Withell, New Zealand Army Ordnance Corps, has been appointed Chief Inspector of Munitions in addition to his appointment as Inspecting Ordnance Officer.
